Agreement
By creating an account or using Amberdesk, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the service.
The service
Amberdesk is cost-estimation software for contractors. It helps you organise materials, labour, equipment, and subcontractor costs into project budgets. Amberdesk is a tool, not financial advice or a guarantee of project cost.
Account & eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract.
- One account per person or legal entity. Do not share credentials.
- Provide accurate information when registering and keep it current.
- You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
Acceptable use
You may not, and may not allow anyone else to:
- reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source of Amberdesk;
- use automated tools to scrape, copy, or harvest data;
- upload or transmit abusive, illegal, or infringing content;
- impersonate another person or organisation;
- use Amberdesk to violate any law or third-party right;
- probe, attack, or attempt to break the security of the service.
Your content
You own the estimates, projects, resources, assemblies, and attachments you create in Amberdesk. You grant Amberdesk a non-exclusive licence to host, store, and process this content solely to deliver the service to you. We claim no rights beyond that.
Fees & billing
- Amberdesk is sold as subscription plans billed monthly or annually via Stripe. See /pricing for current tiers.
- Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period until cancelled.
- You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
- Refunds are not provided for partial periods unless required by local law.
Availability
We make reasonable efforts to keep Amberdesk available, but we do not guarantee specific uptime. Planned maintenance and unscheduled outages may occur.
Termination
You may cancel at any time. Amberdesk may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, with prior notice where practical.
Warranty disclaimer
Amberdesk is provided “as is” and “as available”. Estimates produced with Amberdesk are tools to help you organise cost data — final bid accuracy is your responsibility. We make no warranties of merchantability or fitness for any particular project.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Amberdesk's total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid Amberdesk in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of {{GOVERNING_LAW_JURISDICTION}}, and any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the courts of that jurisdiction.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
